After Colony complete: 107 Gundam Wing articles
Journey through 107 articles covering the complete Gundam Wing universe
When I started expanding Gundam Wing coverage, the site had scattered articles and over 500 broken internal links. Today, I’m thrilled to share that After Colony is now complete: 107 comprehensive articles covering every corner of the Gundam Wing universe.
This wasn’t just about filling gaps—it was about building the most comprehensive Gundam Wing reference outside of Japan, covering the TV series, Endless Waltz, manga spin-offs, and the sprawling Frozen Teardrop saga.
From scattered pages to complete coverage
The journey began with the realisation that Gundam Wing needed more than just the famous five Gundams and their pilots. The story lives in its factions, its events like Operation Meteor, and the complex web of supporting characters.
I started with major mecha and main pilots already documented, but discovered 500+ broken internal links during an audit. That’s when I realised we needed infrastructure articles—factions, events, technology—to properly support the narrative. Each article required research from multiple sources, tracing connections across the TV series, OVA, and various manga continuities.
The turning point came when I realised Gundam Wing needed more than just the famous five Gundams and their pilots. The story lives in its factions, its events like Operation Meteor, and the complex web of supporting characters. So I added supporting characters, the five Gundam Scientists, enemy units, and filled out manga series like G-Unit, Ground Zero, and Tiel’s Impulse.

Your gateway to the After Colony universe
Gundam Wing holds special significance as the first Gundam series to air in the West, bringing anime to many Western fans who’d never encountered the franchise before. Its complex political narrative is often overshadowed by the action, but the story’s depth comes from its multiple continuities—TV versus Endless Waltz designs, manga variants, and the Frozen Teardrop expansion.
Whether you’re rewatching the series, building Gunpla kits, or diving into the manga spin-offs for the first time, you now have a comprehensive reference that explains the context, connections, and continuity. Newcomers and longtime fans alike can explore the After Colony universe with confidence.
Where to start exploring
Each article goes beyond specifications and plot summaries. You’ll find operational histories, character relationships, thematic significance, and connections across the multiple Gundam Wing continuities.
Start with these standout articles:
- Wing Gundam — The iconic transforming Gundam that defined a generation

These articles showcase the depth of coverage you’ll find throughout all 107 entries.
Beyond After Colony
With Gundam Wing complete, I’m turning attention to expanding other timelines—particularly the Universal Century foundation and popular alternate timelines like Cosmic Era (SEED) and Anno Domini (00). But Wing will continue to receive polish and updates based on your feedback.
