Advanced Generation characters

These are the notable characters that appeared in the Advanced Generation timeline. The Advanced Generation focuses primarily on the multi-generational saga of the Asuno family during the One Hundred Years War between the Earth Federation and the mysterious Vagan forces.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE follows three generations of the Asuno family across nearly fifty years of conflict. The series is divided into distinct arcs, each focusing on a different generation facing the ongoing war with the Vagan.

First generation

The first generation arc centres on Flit Asuno, who witnessed the destruction of his home colony by the Unknown Enemy (later revealed to be the Vagan) and dedicated his life to creating the Gundam to fight them.

Second generation

Twenty-five years later, the second generation follows Asemu Asuno, Flit’s son, who struggled with living up to his father’s legacy whilst developing his own approach to the ongoing conflict.

Third generation

The third generation arc features Kio Asuno, Flit’s grandson, who brought a fresh perspective to the century-long conflict and ultimately helped broker peace between the warring factions.

Three generations

The final arc brought together all three Asuno pilots—Flit, Asemu, and Kio—in the climactic battle that ended the One Hundred Years War.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden is a compilation OVA that retells the second generation arc focusing on the relationship between Asemu Asuno and Zeheart Galette. The OVA features the same characters from the main series with additional scenes that expand on their story.
