Asuka Langley Soryu

Asuka Langley Soryu is the pilot of Evangelion Unit-02 in the Evangelion franchise. Outwardly confident and competitive, she hides deep emotional trauma and a need for recognition. Her rivalry with Rei Ayanami and complicated relationship with Shinji Ikari are central to the series’ psychological drama.

Asuka appears across Neon Genesis Evangelion, The End of Evangelion, and the Rebuild of Evangelion films.
