Rebuild of Evangelion

Rebuild of Evangelion (ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版, Evangerion Shin Gekijō-ban) is a tetralogy of Japanese anime films that reimagine and conclude the Evangelion story. Produced by Studio Khara and directed by Anno Hideaki, the four films were released between 2007 and 2021: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone (2007), Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance (2009), Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (2012), and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (2021).

The Rebuild films retell and then diverge from the events of Neon Genesis Evangelion and The End of Evangelion, introducing new characters, mecha, and a distinct conclusion. The tetralogy is the definitive ending to the franchise as conceived by Anno.
