Evangelion Unit-02 is the production-model EVA piloted by Asuka Langley Soryu in the Evangelion franchise. It features a distinctive red colour scheme and is deployed by NERV against the Angels in Neon Genesis Evangelion and The End of Evangelion. Unit-02 is central to the assault on NERV and the climax of the original timeline.
