Evangelion factions
The Evangelion world is shaped by a handful of powerful organisations. NERV is the paramilitary body that develops and deploys the Evangelion units against the Angels, with its headquarters beneath Tokyo-3. SEELE is the secret council that controls NERV and pursues the Human Instrumentality Project. The United Nations (and its nominal oversight of NERV) also plays a role in the franchise.
These factions drive the conflict and conspiracy across Neon Genesis Evangelion and the Rebuild of Evangelion films.
