United Nations (Evangelion)
In the Evangelion franchise, the United Nations is the international body that funds and ostensibly oversees NERV, the organisation responsible for developing and deploying the Evangelion units against the Angels. In practice, NERV and SEELE operate with considerable autonomy, and the UN’s role is often secondary to the conflict between NERV, SEELE, and the Angels.
The UN appears across Neon Genesis Evangelion and the Rebuild of Evangelion films.
