The Earth Forces are the unified military response of Earth’s nations to the Vers Empire invasion in Aldnoah.Zero. Outgunned and outmatched by Vers Aldnoah technology, the Earth Forces relied on tactical innovation, numerical advantage, and the emergence of exceptional pilots to survive and eventually turn the tide.

History

Formation

When the Vers Empire declared war following the peace conference bombing, Earth’s nations unified their military responses under a coordinated command structure. The Earth Forces brought together soldiers, pilots, and resources from across the planet to resist the Martian invasion.

Early War

The initial phase of the war was devastating for Earth. The Vers Mars Knights, equipped with Areion mobile armors powered by Aldnoah technology, overwhelmed conventional forces. Earth’s weapons struggled to penetrate Vers armor, while Aldnoah-powered machines moved with speed and agility that exceeded anything in Earth’s arsenal.

Major cities fell in the opening weeks, and the Earth Forces were pushed to the brink of collapse. The survival of Earth depended on adapting to Vers tactics and finding ways to counter the technological disadvantage.

The turning point came when Earth forces began capturing Vers technology and reverse-engineering Aldnoah systems. Modified Areion units, now in Earth hands, allowed pilots like Inaho Kaizuka to fight on more equal terms.

The rise of Slaine Troyard and his faction within Vers politics distracted from the invasion effort, while the peace-seeking Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia provided a diplomatic alternative to total war.

The Earth Forces ultimately achieved a ceasefire that ended the active conflict, though the political situation remained complex in the aftermath.
