The RGE-C350 Shaldoll Custom (RGE-C350 シャルドール カスタム, RGE-C350 Sharudōru Kasutamu) was a custom mobile suit piloted by Woolf Enneacle in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. Modified from the standard Shaldoll design, the custom variant was distinguished by its distinctive white colour scheme and enhanced performance specifications, reflecting Woolf’s status as one of the Earth Federation’s most capable pilots.

History

Development

The Shaldoll Custom was developed as a personalised mobile suit for Woolf Enneacle, the Federation ace pilot known as the “White Wolf.” While the standard Shaldoll was a mass production unit, the custom variant incorporated a number of performance enhancements tailored to Woolf’s aggressive combat style.

These modifications included improved thruster output for enhanced mobility, upgraded armour plating for better protection, and customised weapon systems optimised for Woolf’s preferred combat tactics. The result was a mobile suit that significantly outperformed the standard Shaldoll.

Combat deployment

Woolf piloted the Shaldoll Custom aboard the assault ship Diva during the first generation of the war against Vagan. He used the mobile suit to lead his squad into battle, often engaging Vagan forces directly and providing support for the AGE-1 Gundam piloted by Flit Asuno.

The Shaldoll Custom’s enhanced performance allowed Woolf to compete with Vagan’s superior mobile suits, and his tactical skill made the unit a formidable opponent. The distinctive white colour scheme of the Shaldoll Custom became a symbol of Federation resistance on the battlefield.

Design

Specifications

The Shaldoll Custom was based on the standard RGE-C350 Shaldoll but featured numerous modifications that improved its overall performance. The mobile suit retained the Shaldoll’s basic design philosophy — a versatile, well-rounded unit suitable for a variety of combat scenarios — but Woolf’s customisations pushed the design closer to the performance envelope of prototype mobile suits.

The white colour scheme was not merely cosmetic — it was chosen to reflect Woolf’s “White Wolf” nickname and to make the mobile suit easily identifiable on the battlefield.

Armaments

The Shaldoll Custom was equipped with beam sabers for close combat, a beam rifle for ranged engagements, and a defensive shield. These were standard Federation weapons, but Woolf’s skill with them elevated their effectiveness beyond that of typical mass production mobile suit armaments.
