Holy Britannian Empire

The Holy Britannian Empire is the dominant superpower in the Code Geass franchise. Ruled by Charles zi Britannia, it has conquered much of the world, including Japan—renamed Area 11. Its military relies on Knightmare Frames and elite pilots such as the Knights of Seven; Suzaku Kururugi becomes one of them as pilot of the Lancelot.

The empire is opposed by the Black Knights led by Zero (Lelouch vi Britannia). The main timeline concludes with the Zero Requiem and the empire’s transformation. The faction appears across Lelouch of the Rebellion, R2, and Re;surrection.
