Suzaku Kururugi

Suzaku Kururugi is a central character in the Code Geass franchise and the childhood friend of Lelouch vi Britannia. As the son of Japan’s last prime minister, he chose to become an Honorary Britannian and reform the Holy Britannian Empire from within, opposing Lelouch’s revolution. He pilots the Lancelot, one of the most advanced Knightmare Frames, and rises to become a Knight of Seven.
His belief in change through the system clashes with Lelouch’s use of Geass and the Black Knights. After the Zero Requiem, Suzaku assumes the identity of Zero to preserve the peace Lelouch created. He appears across Lelouch of the Rebellion, R2, and Re;surrection.
