Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is the first anime series in the Code Geass franchise. It follows Lelouch vi Britannia, an exiled prince of the Holy Britannian Empire, who gains the power of Geass from the immortal C.C. and leads the resistance as the masked Zero, commanding the Black Knights. His childhood friend Suzaku Kururugi opposes him as a Britannian Knightmare Frame pilot. The series originally aired in Japan from October 2006 to July 2007.
