Lelouch vi Britannia

Lelouch vi Britannia is the central protagonist of the Code Geass franchise. An exiled prince of the Holy Britannian Empire, he lives in Area 11 under the alias Lelouch Lamperouge after his father Charles zi Britannia abandoned him and his sister Nunnally vi Britannia. After gaining the power of Geass from C.C.—the ability to command absolute obedience—he becomes the masked revolutionary Zero and leads the Black Knights against Britannia.

Lelouch pilots the Gawain and later the Shinkirō. His strategic genius and willingness to sacrifice others for his goals place him in constant ideological conflict with his childhood friend Suzaku Kururugi. The original timeline concludes with the Zero Requiem; the film Lelouch of the Re;surrection continues his story in an alternate continuity.
