Charles zi Britannia

Charles zi Britannia (シャルル・ジ・ブリタニア) is the Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire in the Code Geass franchise. He exiled Lelouch vi Britannia and Nunnally vi Britannia to Area 11 as political pawns after the death of their mother. His ruthless expansion and disregard for his children fuel Lelouch’s rebellion as Zero and the Black Knights.

Charles pursues the Ragnarök Connection—a plan to merge all human consciousness—and opposes C.C. and others who hold the power of Geass. He appears across Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and R2.
