WMS-GEX1 G-Exes

The WMS-GEX1 G-Exes (WMS-GEX1 ジーエグゼス, WMS-GEX1 Jī Eguzesu) was a custom mobile suit piloted by Woolf Enneacle during the second generation of the war against Vagan in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. As Woolf’s second generation ace unit, the G-Exes represented an evolution from his earlier RGE-C350 Shaldoll Custom, incorporating improvements based on combat experience.

History

Development

The G-Exes was developed specifically for Woolf Enneacle, the Federation ace pilot known as the “White Wolf.” By the second generation of the war, Woolf had accumulated extensive combat experience and his mobile suit requirements had evolved accordingly. The G-Exes was designed to meet these needs, offering enhanced performance across all key areas.

The mobile suit was built using the latest Federation technology available during the second generation, incorporating advances in armour materials, propulsion systems, and weapon technology. The result was a unit that approached the performance of prototype mobile suits while remaining operationally viable.

Combat deployment

Woolf piloted the G-Exes aboard the assault ship Diva during the second generation of the war. He used the mobile suit to lead Federation mobile suit squads in combat operations against Vagan forces, providing both direct combat capability and tactical leadership.

The G-Exes performed admirably in combat, and Woolf’s skill with the unit made it one of the most effective Federation mobile suits of the second generation. The mobile suit’s distinctive appearance — continuing Woolf’s signature white colour scheme — made it instantly recognisable on the battlefield.

Design

The G-Exes was a custom-built mobile suit that incorporated a number of advanced technologies not available in standard mass production units. Its armour was constructed from improved E-Carbon composite, and its plasma reactor provided sufficient power for enhanced propulsion and weapon systems.

Armaments

The G-Exes was equipped with beam sabers for close combat, a beam rifle for ranged engagements, and a defensive shield. While these were standard Federation weapon types, the G-Exes’s weapon systems were upgraded versions with improved performance and reliability.
