The GNR-010 0 Raiser (0ライザー, Zero Raizā) was a support craft developed by Celestial Being in the Anno Domini timeline, designed specifically to enhance the GN-0000 Gundam 00’s Twin Drive System synchronisation. When docked with the Gundam 00, the 0 Raiser formed the GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser configuration, significantly improving the mobile suit’s performance and capabilities.
The “GNR-010” designation indicated the support craft’s model number, whilst the “0 Raiser” name reflected its role in “raising” the Gundam 00’s capabilities. The 0 Raiser was piloted by Saji Crossroad during Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season, operating in coordination with Setsuna F. Seiei in the Gundam 00.
History
The 0 Raiser was developed to solve the Gundam 00’s Twin Drive System synchronisation issues, which had prevented the mobile suit from achieving its full potential. The support craft was designed with specific systems to stabilise and enhance the Twin Drive System, allowing the Gundam 00 to operate at maximum efficiency.
The development of the 0 Raiser was a critical project for Celestial Being, as the Gundam 00’s performance limitations had prevented it from fulfilling its intended role. The support craft’s design incorporated advanced GN particle control systems that could interface with the Gundam 00’s twin GN Drives, improving synchronisation and power output.
The 0 Raiser was first deployed during the second season, after its development was completed. The support craft’s effectiveness was immediately demonstrated when it docked with the Gundam 00, forming the 00 Raiser configuration that achieved significantly improved performance.
Design
The 0 Raiser featured a compact design that emphasised its role as a support craft rather than an independent combat unit. The craft’s design incorporated advanced GN particle generation and control systems that could interface with the Gundam 00’s Twin Drive System, enhancing synchronisation and performance.
The support craft’s most distinctive feature was its ability to dock with the Gundam 00, attaching to the mobile suit’s back to form the 00 Raiser configuration. This docking mechanism was designed to provide seamless integration, allowing the two units to function as a single system.
Twin Drive System enhancement
The 0 Raiser’s primary function was to enhance the Gundam 00’s Twin Drive System synchronisation. The support craft provided additional GN particle generation and stabilisation systems that allowed the twin GN Drives to operate at maximum efficiency, achieving synchronisation rates that were impossible for the Gundam 00 alone.
The enhancement systems incorporated advanced control technology that could monitor and adjust the Twin Drive System’s operation in real-time, ensuring optimal synchronisation and preventing destabilisation that could damage the system or reduce performance.
Armaments
