GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser

The GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser (ダブルオーライザー, Daburu Ō Raizā) was a combined mobile suit configuration in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season, consisting of the GN-0000 Gundam 00 equipped with the GNR-010 0 Raiser support unit. The 00 Raiser provided enhanced Twin Drive System synchronisation and significantly improved combat capabilities, making it one of the most powerful mobile suits in the series.

The “00 Raiser” designation combined the Gundam 00’s model number with the 0 Raiser support unit, reflecting the combined configuration’s enhanced capabilities. The 00 Raiser was piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei with Saji Crossroad operating the 0 Raiser support unit.

History

The 00 Raiser was developed to solve the Gundam 00’s Twin Drive System synchronisation issues, which had prevented the mobile suit from achieving its full potential. The 0 Raiser support unit was designed specifically to stabilise and enhance the Twin Drive System, allowing the Gundam 00 to operate at maximum efficiency.

The combined configuration was first deployed during the second season, after the 0 Raiser support unit was completed. The 00 Raiser’s enhanced capabilities immediately demonstrated its superiority, as it could achieve higher GN particle output and better synchronisation than the Gundam 00 alone.

The 00 Raiser played a crucial role in the second season’s major battles, serving as Celestial Being’s most powerful mobile suit. Its enhanced Twin Drive System synchronisation allowed it to engage multiple opponents simultaneously and achieve feats that would have been impossible for the Gundam 00 alone.

Design

The 00 Raiser featured a combined design that integrated the 0 Raiser support unit with the Gundam 00. The support unit attached to the Gundam 00’s back, providing additional GN particle generation and stabilisation systems that enhanced the Twin Drive System’s performance.

The combined configuration’s most distinctive feature was its enhanced Twin Drive System synchronisation, which allowed the mobile suit to achieve significantly higher GN particle output than the Gundam 00 alone. This enhanced synchronisation provided superior performance in all areas, including speed, firepower, and defensive capabilities.

Twin Drive System enhancement

The 0 Raiser support unit’s primary function was to enhance the Gundam 00’s Twin Drive System synchronisation. The support unit provided additional GN particle generation and stabilisation systems that allowed the twin GN Drives to operate at maximum efficiency, achieving synchronisation rates that were impossible for the Gundam 00 alone.

Armaments
