WMS-03 Maganac Rasid Kurama Custom

The WMS-03 Maganac Rasid Kurama Custom was a commander-type customized WMS-03 Maganac operated by Rasid Kurama, leader of the Maganac Corps. Distinguished by a commander’s antenna on the head and stylized shoulder armor similar to that on the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock, Rasid’s Maganac also mounted a pair of head-mounted vulcan guns for close-range combat. The EW version featured a pair of sub-sensors on its chest, enhancing the unit’s command and control capabilities.

Overview

As leader of the Maganac Corps, Rasid Kurama required a mobile suit with enhanced command capabilities. The commander’s antenna provided improved communications range and coordination with the 40 Maganac units under his command. The stylized shoulder armor echoed Gundam Sandrock’s design, visually connecting the commander unit to Quatre Raberba Winner’s Gundam whilst providing additional protection.

The addition of vulcan guns gave Rasid’s unit close-range defensive capabilities that standard Maganacs lacked, appropriate for a commander who needed to engage enemies at all ranges whilst coordinating his forces.
