Umi Ryuuzaki (龍咲 海) is one of the three Magic Knights in Magic Knight Rayearth. An eighth-grade student transported from Tokyo to Cephiro, she wields the power of water and bonds with Selece (Celes/Seres), the dragon-form Rune God (Mashin) of the seas.
Umi fights alongside Hikaru Shidou and Fuu Hououji as they are drawn into Cephiro’s fate—rescuing the Pillar and confronting the moral twist that the first arc reveals. Her character adds resolve and emotional depth to the trio; the Mashin’s power reflects each knight’s spiritual growth and will.
