Fuu Hououji

Fuu Hououji (鳳凰寺 風) is one of the three Magic Knights in Magic Knight Rayearth. An eighth-grade student transported from Tokyo to Cephiro, she wields the power of wind and bonds with Windam, the four-winged bird Rune God (Mashin) of the skies.

Fuu fights alongside Hikaru Shidou and Umi Ryuuzaki as the trio are chosen to save the Pillar—a mission that the series subverts when the true nature of Cephiro’s destiny is revealed. Her calm and insight complement the group; the Mashin’s strength grows with each knight’s emotional and spiritual maturity.
