Tabris (Kaworu Nagisa)
Tabris (the seventeenth Angel), who takes the form of Kaworu Nagisa, is the last Angel to appear in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Unlike the others, Kaworu presents as human and is assigned as a replacement pilot for Evangelion Unit-02. He forms a brief but deep connection with Shinji Ikari, offering the acceptance Shinji has longed for—before revealing that he is an Angel and must be destroyed. Shinji is forced to kill him in Unit-01.
Tabris/Kaworu appears in the final stretch of the television series and is a key figure in the Rebuild of Evangelion films.
