Permet
Element that enables information sharing between particles; foundation of Ad Stella technology.
Permet (パーミット, Pāmitto) is a substance in the Ad Stella timeline whose particles can share information with each other (Permet Links). It is mined on Mercury, the Moon, and elsewhere and is the basis of most technology in the era, including the GUND Format, GUND-ARMS, and mobile suit systems in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.
Overview
Permet can be mixed with structural materials and propellants and used in body augmentations and mobile suit interfaces. The data-sharing between Permet particles enables the GUND Format’s neural link and the control of GUND-Bits and other systems. Permet score (e.g. Permet score 3, 6, 8) indicates the level of link and performance; higher scores increase strain on the pilot. The Gundam Aerial and other units rely on Permet for their operation.
