Orga Itsuka

Orga Itsuka (オルガ・イツカ, Oruga Itsuka) is the leader of Tekkadan in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. A former human debris (child soldier) on Mars, he leads the rebellion that transforms CGS into Tekkadan and drives the group’s rise as a mercenary company and political player in the Post Disaster era.

Biography

Orga grew up as human debris alongside Mikazuki Augus and the others at CGS. When the adults sacrifice the children in a contract, Orga leads the takeover of the company and renames it Tekkadan. He forges an alliance with Kudelia Aina Bernstein to escort her to Earth, which brings Tekkadan into conflict with Gjallarhorn and sets the group on a path of expansion. Orga’s ambition—to give his people a place to belong and a life beyond exploitation—drives him to accept ever larger risks and contracts. His decisions ultimately contribute to Tekkadan’s military successes and then to its downfall. He is killed in PD 324 during the final conflict with Gjallarhorn, shot after stepping outside to declare his next order to his crew.

Personality and role

Orga is a natural leader who inspires loyalty in Tekkadan, especially in Mikazuki, who follows his orders without question. Orga balances pragmatism with care for his subordinates but is increasingly willing to use violence and political manoeuvring to secure Tekkadan’s position. His promise to “take them to the top” becomes both a rallying cry and a trap as the group grows and attracts more powerful enemies.
