GNX-803T GN-XIV

The GNX-803T GN-XIV (ジンクスIV, Jinkus Fō) was a late-model GN-X–series mass-production mobile suit operated by the Earth Sphere Federation around AD 2314 in Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer. Developed after the disbanding of A-LAWS, it reflected the Federation’s attempt to standardise a more stable GN Tau–powered frontline unit that could coexist with Celestial Being’s true GN Drive machines.

Externally, the GN-XIV adopted cleaner armour lines and revised backpack units with GN Tail Boosters, improving manoeuvrability and sustained particle output compared to earlier GN-X models. Its armament centered on configurable GN Beam Rifles (short and long types), paired GN Beam Sabres, GN Vulcans, and optional GN Shields; commander machines could mount additional equipment such as GN Boosters or heavy melee weapons depending on the pilot’s preferences.

The GN-XIV served as the Federation’s workhorse mobile suit during the ELS crisis, forming large mixed formations alongside GN-XIII units and other GN Tau–equipped machines. Notable ace pilots such as Patrick Colasour and Andrei Smirnov were assigned customised GN-XIVs, demonstrating the design’s flexibility as both a mass-production machine and a platform for personal equipment layouts.
