GNX-609T GN-XIII

The GNX-609T GN-XIII (ジンクスIII, Jinkus Surī) was a second-generation GN-X–series mass-production mobile suit deployed by the Earth Sphere Federation Army and its autonomous anti-terror unit A-LAWS in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season. Powered by an improved GN Tau Drive, it became the Federation’s mainline frontline unit, fielded in large numbers against Celestial Being and resistance groups such as Katharon.

Building on the original GN-X, the GN-XIII refined its frame, propulsion, and particle control systems. Its signature weapon was the GN Beam Lance, a polearm that could switch between lance-like melee mode and rifle mode, giving the suit both close-quarters and ranged capability without changing equipment. The suit retained familiar GN Vulcans, beam sabres, and a GN Shield, whilst internal improvements to the Tau Drive and particle storage reduced the operating penalties compared to earlier mass-production GN units.

Colour schemes distinguished operators: crimson machines for A-LAWS, blue units for regular Federation forces, and other palettes for special detachments. Notable pilots included Graham Aker and Ali Al-Saachez, both of whom used GN-XIII units in their continuing confrontations with Celestial Being during the AD 2312 conflict and the events leading into Awakening of the Trailblazer.
