GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam

The GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam (カラミティガンダム, Karamiti Gandamu) was an Earth Alliance prototype artillery mobile suit developed from the GAT-X103 Buster Gundam. It appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and was later refitted for Phantom Pain in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. It used Trans-Phase Armor and was heavily armed with shoulder-mounted 125mm multi-phase energy cannons, 337mm plasma cannons, and machine guns for long-range bombardment.

History

In SEED the Calamity was piloted by the Extended Orga Sabnak and fought alongside the Forbidden and Raider Gundams. In SEED Destiny, Phantom Pain deployed refitted Calamity units during the Second Alliance-PLANT War.
