Dominant corporate group in Ad Stella; runs Asticassia and the mobile suit industry.
The Benerit Group (ベネリットグループ, Beneritto Gurūpu) is the dominant corporate conglomerate in the Ad Stella timeline and the main power behind the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It comprises 157 member corporations and controls the Asticassia School of Technology, where corporate heirs train and duel in mobile suits. Delling Rembran serves as its president and ordered the destruction of the Vanadis Institute in the Vanadis Incident, which banned the GUND Format.
Overview
The Benerit Group emerged as the leading force in space after the Vanadis Incident and oversees Fronts, mobile suit development, and the economy. Member companies include Jeturk Heavy Machinery, Peil Technologies, Grassley Defence Systems, and others; they compete for influence and profit. The group’s duelling system at Asticassia determines “holders” and corporate standing, drawing Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran into its politics. Prospera Mercury’s revenge targets the group and Delling.
