The Special Vehicle Section (特車二課, Tokusha Nika) is the Tokyo Metropolitan Police unit in Patlabor responsible for Labor-related incidents. SV2 Division 2 is the division featured in the franchise, operating Patrol Labors including the AV-98 Ingram. The section deals with runaway Labors, criminal misuse, and threats such as the Griffon and Phantom incidents.
