Labors
Labors are the humanoid industrial robots in the Patlabor franchise. Designed for heavy construction and municipal work, they occasionally malfunction or are used for criminal purposes. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police formed the Special Vehicle Section to handle Labor-related incidents, deploying Patrol Labors (Patlabors) such as the AV-98 Ingram. Designed by Izubuchi Yutaka, Labors prioritise mechanical realism and operational constraints.
