Mitsuru (ミツル), designated Code:326, is the Stamen of the Franxx unit Chlorophytum in Darling in the FranXX. A member of Squad 13, he is initially Ikuno’s partner in Chlorophytum; when he develops feelings for Kokoro, he is reassigned to pilot Argentea with her, and the two eventually marry and have children.
His arc traces emotional thawing—from cold and guarded to willing to risk connection—and his choice to build a family with Kokoro despite the world APE has imposed. Mitsuru’s journey reflects the series’ focus on Parasites reclaiming love, reproduction, and human futures beyond the birdcage.
