Darling in the FranXX (2018) is the anime by Studio Trigger, A-1 Pictures, and CloverWorks. Squad 13 pilot FranXX to defend Plantations from Klaxosaurs. Hiro and Zero Two drive the central romance; the story later introduces VIRM.
