The GW-9800 Gundam Airmaster (GW-9800 ガンダムエアマスター) is a mobile suit in After War Gundam X, piloted by Witz Sou of the Freeden. It was developed during the 7th Space War as a high-mobility unit and can transform for atmospheric flight, providing air superiority and reconnaissance for the crew.
History
The Freeden crew salvages the Gundam Airmaster and Witz pilots it alongside Garrod Ran’s Gundam X and Roabea Loy’s Gundam Leopard. It sees action against the New United Nations Earth and the Space Revolutionary Army throughout the series.
Design
The Gundam Airmaster emphasises speed and agility. It is typically armed with a beam rifle and can transform into a flight form for atmospheric combat. It is later upgraded to the Gundam Airmaster Burst in the series.
