GX-9900 Gundam X

The GX-9900 Gundam X (GX-9900 ガンダムX) is the hero mobile suit in After War Gundam X, piloted by Garrod Ran. It was developed during the 7th Space War and uses the Satellite Cannon, which receives microwave power from a lunar relay to fire a devastating beam. Garrod discovers the unit in the wasteland and uses it to rescue Tiffa Adill before joining the Freeden crew.
History
The Gundam X was one of the Federal Forces’ Gundam types during the 7th Space War; after the colony drops it was left in the ruins. Garrod finds it and becomes its pilot, using it in combat against the New United Nations Earth, the Space Revolutionary Army, and other threats. The machine is later upgraded to the Gundam X Divider in the series.
Design
The Gundam X is distinguished by its Satellite Cannon, mounted on the back and requiring a clear line to the moon-based relay for maximum power. It also carries a beam rifle, shield, and beam sabre for standard combat. Its design reflects the high-spec prototype role of 7th Space War Gundams.
