The Next Generation: Patlabor (2014–2015) is the live-action Patlabor series, with Mamoru Oshii involved. It translates the franchise’s Labor and Special Vehicle Section concept to live action whilst addressing contemporary themes. The Patlabor EZY anime project was later announced for 2026.
