Tatsumiyajima (龍宮島) is the island that serves as the main setting of Fafner in the Azure. Protected by cloaking technology and defended by Fafner units, it is one of the last bastions of Japanese culture and peaceful life after the Festum devastated the world. The Arcadian Project is centred here. Children are drafted as Fafner pilots, and the Siegfried System coordinates their operations.
