Mr. Mackenzie
Christina Mackenzie's father; civilian in Side 6 during War in the Pocket.
Mr. Mackenzie was the father of Christina Mackenzie and husband of Mrs. Mackenzie. He lived with his family in the Libot colony on Side 6 during the One Year War, as depicted in Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket.
Role
Mr. Mackenzie was a well-built man who wore glasses and showed genuine concern for his daughter’s military service. Although a civilian, he worried about Christina’s role in the Earth Federation Forces. She did not fully disclose her work to her parents, telling them she was doing data collection for the military rather than that she was the test pilot for the RX-78NT-1 Gundam Alex.
Both he and Mrs. Mackenzie approved of Bernard Wiseman, welcoming Bernie into their home; they were unaware that he was a Zeon Special Forces operative. The Mackenzie household was a harmonious one, and Alfred Izuruha deflected suspicion from Christina’s parents by claiming Bernie was his stepbrother.
Behind the scenes
Mr. Mackenzie appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket as Christina’s father. He is not given a first name in the series.
