Moonrace

The Moonrace (ムーンレィス, Mūnreisu) are a key faction in Turn A Gundam and the Correct Century timeline. They are the descendants of humans who left Earth during the Dark History and built an advanced civilisation on the Moon, preserving space-age technology whilst Earth society regressed.

In CC 2345, the Moonrace begins an official “return to Earth” plan, leading to tensions and misunderstandings with the Earth nations who fear displacement. The conflict between Moonrace settlers and the Earth Militia forms the backdrop for Loran Cehack’s story and the reawakening of the System ∀-99 ∀ Gundam.
