Dark History

The Dark History (黒歴史, Kurorekishi) is the sealed record of past space wars in the Correct Century timeline, revealed in Turn A Gundam. It encompasses the events of earlier Gundam eras—such as the Universal Century and other timelines—that culminated in the use of devastating mobile weapons and technologies that nearly destroyed civilisation.

When the Dark History archives are uncovered, they expose footage of earlier Gundam conflicts and explain why the Moonrace left Earth and why advanced mobile suits lie buried in the “mountain cycles”. The revelation forces both Earthrace and Moonrace to confront the cyclical nature of war and the consequences of repeating past mistakes.
