Mistilteinn
Mistilteinn is the formal name for the facilities in Darling in the FranXX where Parasites live and train, commonly nicknamed “birdcages.” They emulate pre-apocalyptic environments to encourage the emotional development needed for FranXX operation whilst keeping children ignorant of reproduction, marriage, and family. Squad 13 and other Parasite units are raised in these controlled spaces.
