Meitzer Ronah (メズゥーア・ロナ, Mezuā Rona) was the patriarch of the Ronah family and mastermind behind the Cosmo Babylonia project in Mobile Suit Gundam F91. A wealthy industrialist, he sought to create spaceborn aristocracy led by the Crossbone Vanguard, believing the Earth Federation unfit to govern the Universal Century.

Biography

Meitzer Ronah used the family’s corporate empire to fund the Crossbone Vanguard, recruiting disenfranchised nobles and military elites during the Cosmo Babylonia uprising in UC 0123.

Architect of Cosmo Babylonia

Meitzer envisioned a hierarchical society where noble houses ruled human colonies, restoring order through strict social stratification. His plan relied on surprising the Earth Federation with a swift seizure of the Frontier Side, using the Crossbone Vanguard as his military instrument.

Manipulating the Ronah Family

To legitimise Cosmo Babylonia, Meitzer positioned his descendants as figureheads. He manipulated his son Carozzo Ronah and grandchildren Dorel Ronah and Berah Ronah into roles that advanced his agenda. Even as Carozzo adopted the Iron Mask persona and Dorel pursued militaristic dominance, Meitzer remained focused on the political spectacle of noble restoration.

Reaction to the Gundam F91

The emergence of the Gundam F91 disrupted Meitzer’s timetable.
