Megadeuses are the towering mechanical giants in the The Big O franchise—colossal metal behemoths that embody “old school” super robot design philosophy. Unlike streamlined mobile suits, they prioritise raw power over agility, wielding conventional weaponry including missiles, machine guns, and pile-driver punches that reflect the series’ retro sensibilities. Roger Smith pilots Big O, the titular megadeus; others awaken in Paradigm City as the mystery of the city’s lost memories unfolds. Designer Keiichi Satō; Bandai released model kits.
