Lio Fotia

Lio Fotia (リオ・フォーティア) is the deuteragonist of Promare and the charismatic leader of Mad Burnish, a group of Burnish resisting their persecution. With his flame-controlling powers and gothic-inspired style, he initially appears as a terrorist figure but is gradually revealed to be fighting to protect his people from exploitation and extinction.

Lio’s confrontations with Galo Thymos force both of them to question the propaganda they have been raised on. Their uneasy alliance becomes central to exposing the truth behind Promepolis and averting planetary catastrophe.
