The Burnish are people in Promare who can create and control fire. They are opposed by Burning Rescue and the Freeze Force. The story explores prejudice and misinformation around the Burnish; Lio Fotia leads the Burnish resistance. In the film’s visual language, Burnish are associated with triangles.
