Krugis (クルジス, Kurujisu) was a nation in the Middle East in the Anno Domini timeline. The nation was the site of conflicts that shaped the early life of Setsuna F. Seiei, who was raised as a child soldier there before joining Celestial Being. Krugis represented one of the many regions caught in the middle of conflicts between the world’s major power blocs, contributing to the cycle of violence that Celestial Being sought to end.

These conflicts devastated the region and led to the conscription of children, including Setsuna, into terrorist organisations and militias.

Despite the end of fossil fuel conflicts, tensions between power blocs continued to manifest in regional conflicts that destroyed communities and forced children to fight in wars.
