Kang

Kang (カン, Kan) was a Principality of Zeon mobile suit pilot during the One Year War, serving in mobile suit operations and representing the many pilots who fought for Zeon throughout the conflict.

Biography

Kang served as mobile suit pilot in Zeon’s forces, piloting MS-06F Zaku II mobile suits during combat operations. As one of the numerous pilots who made up Zeon’s mobile suit corps, Kang participated in Zeon’s military campaign against the Earth Federation, conducting operations throughout the One Year War until his death in combat.

His service exemplified the reality of mobile suit warfare during the One Year War. Whilst famous aces like Char Aznable or the Black Tri-Stars gained recognition and glory, Zeon’s military effectiveness derived primarily from ordinary pilots like Kang—competent professionals who executed standard missions, followed orders reliably, and fought without expectation of becoming legendary.

These regular pilots conducted the majority of Zeon’s mobile suit operations: patrol missions, convoy escorts, defensive actions, and routine combat engagements that characterised warfare between major battles. Death

Kang died during the One Year War, one of many Zeon pilots killed in mobile suit combat.
