Holland Novak

Holland Novak (ホランド・ノヴァク) is the leader and captain of Gekkostate in Eureka Seven. A former Special Operations Forces soldier who deserted, he stole the ship Gekko and Eureka from the military and built the group into a counter-culture force fighting for coexistence with the Scub Coral.

Holland cultivates a laid-back image through Gekkostate’s magazine ray=out but is temperamental and a strict disciplinarian; Renton Thurston idolises him despite sometimes clashing with him. Holland is deeply committed to protecting Eureka, which creates tension with his partner Talho Yuuki, the Gekko’s head pilot. He pilots the LFO Terminus typeR909; his strategic skill and violent past shape both his leadership and his relationship with the crew.
