Hodr

Hodr (ホドル) is the King of Krisna in Broken Blade. He was a close friend of Rygart Arrow, Sigyn, and Zess at military academy; when war breaks out between the Kingdom of Krisna and the Athens Commonwealth, he must protect his kingdom from invasion.

Hodr is married to Sigyn (later divorced); the series explores duty, loyalty, and the cost of leadership as he balances his feelings for his wife and his friendship with Rygart against the demands of kingship. His choices drive much of the personal conflict at the heart of the war.
