Gunbuster

Gunbuster (1988–1989) is the OVA by Hideaki Anno and Studio Gainax. Noriko Takaya trains at Okinawa Girls’ Space Pilot High School and pilots the Gunbuster with Kazumi Amano against the Space Monsters. Time dilation and Science Lessons are central. Character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto; mecha by Kazutaka Miyatake.
