Gardes
Gardes are the humanoid mecha in Knights of Sidonia. Pilots from the generation ship Sidonia use them to fight the Gauna, with Kabizashi spears to destroy Gauna cores. Nagate Tanikaze becomes a Garde pilot. Powered by Higgs particles; Gauna Railguns extend combat range. The anime was produced by Polygon Pictures in full CGI.
