Gauna
The Gauna are the alien antagonists in Knights of Sidonia. They destroyed Earth and force humanity to survive aboard ships like Sidonia. They can mimic technology and biology; only Kabizashi spears can destroy their cores. Gardes engage them in space combat. The series explores their nature and humanity’s last stand.
